“The process stages that PT GAI goes through are very long, from forming an ISO committee, signing commitments, determining scope, determining risk opportunities, determining the needs and expectations of interested parties, creating process flows for each department, training, socialization, implementation, carrying out internal audits. and evaluation of the system that has been created, and the most important thing is the commitment from top management,” said Andi Setiawan, President Director of PT GAI, the agent holding the ICE-µ Premium Window Film brand.

On the same occasion, PT GAI announced that the Wuling Binguo EV, MG 4 EV and MG ZS EV electric cars had used ICE-µ Premium Window Film as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) window film in Indonesia.

“ICE-µ window film has long been trusted as an OEM window film for leading car brands in Indonesia. Previously, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Honda, Wuling and Volvo had used ICE-µ as OEM window film. “Now Wuling Binguo EV, MG 4 EV, MG ZS EV and other MG models also choose to use this quality window film,” continued Andi.

Andi explained that the use of ICE-µ Premium Window Film on BEV cars is part of PT GAI’s support for achieving the carbon neutral target launched by the government of the Republic of Indonesia.

“The increasing number of EV car models that are present in Indonesia must also be supported by the use of quality window film which has advantages, especially in its ability to retain heat so that it can help increase the efficiency of the energy used,” added Andi.

Window Film Claimed to Contribute to Battery Life

The Wuling Binguo EV, MG 4 EV and MG ZS EV electric cars use ICE-µ window film, a combination of OEM Series and Premium series, namely CT70 premium series window film and SKKB JB10.

The technology used in ICE-µ Premium Window Film is claimed to have several advantages, namely, it does not interfere with electronic signals such as those required by cell phones or GPS navigation, reduces the temperature in the cabin, resists dangerous ultra violet (UV) rays and is environmentally friendly.

In addition, with its ability to withstand heat emitted by sunlight, it can reduce the need to use cabin air conditioning (AC). This makes battery energy use in electric cars more economical and can contribute to battery life.

Monitor Screen Protector

PT GAI also introduced a film coating for monitor screens called RG Shield Protective Film. This product is intended to protect car head units, especially those with touch screen technology.

“The advantages of this RG Shield are easy waterless installation, high scratch resistance up to 4H, anti-virus and bacteria as well as ultra clear view and sensitive touch,” explained Andi.

RG Shield Protective Film is made from transparent acrylic film material which is claimed not to affect the level of sensitivity and visibility on the screen. Including the touch screen monitor, where the response can be as good as the factory default.
